The DRP’s symbol shows the profile of an ornate black chair with a lion head arm hold. It is set in contrast to a white background.

  • A film or a story is said to keep you on the edge of your seat, if it is suspenseful or engaging.

  • The ‘First Chair’ is awarded to a musician in an orchestra based on prowess.

  • Being “in the chair" is a euphemism for strict discipline or scrutiny

  • A chair is symbolic of a throne or to be elevated

  • An “empty chair” can be considered a vacancy or void

  • To “pull up a chair” is our friendly invitation
